Margaret R. "Boots" Miller, 84, of Largo, FL, formerly of Westminster, died Friday, September 25, 2009 at Largo Medical Center in Florida. Born November 16, 1924 in Westminster she was the daughter of the late Mary (Tawney) Chew and Harry M. Chew. She was married to the late Kenneth C. Miller.
She was a homemaker, a Christian and a member of the Women of the Moose Chapter No. 897.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law; Patsy Ann and Donald J. Dankmeyer of Largo, FL and Carolyn Sue and Jeffrey L. Muth of Fayetteville, NC.
She leaves behind a brother, Harry Albert Chew and companion, Pat Calliflower, Westminster and two sisters; Alice Honeycutt and Virginia (Jenny) Honeycutt and husband William, Mont Alto, PA
She has two grandchildren; Michelle A. (Austin) LeQuire and husband Tom and Kathy L. (Muth) Argo and husband Christopher from Lithia FL.
Also surviving are six great grandchildren; Trenton LeQuire, Courtney LeQuire, Mitchel LeQuire, Hayley LeQuire, Abigail Argo and C. S. Evans Argo, Jr. There are several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a brother, John Daniel Chew.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. at the Fletcher Funeral Home, 254 East Main Street, Westminster.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 2 P.M. at the funeral home with Rev. Richard Shamer officiating. Interment will be at Westminster Cemetery.
