Hilda May Long, 86, of Westminster died Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at home. Born March 15, 1923 in White Hall she was the daughter of the late William Shaeffer and Martha Wyatt Shaeffer.
She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Survived by 7 children Robert P. Long of Linwood, Betty Barnes of New Windsor, Joyce "Joy" Long of Hampstead, Charles Long of Hanover, Pa., Dave G. Long of Manchester, Susan J. Becker of Post Mills, Vt. and Mary E. Dehoff of Oklahoma City, Ok. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by two sons Gary L. Long and Donald Long.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Oct. 23, 2009 at 2 P.M. at Fletcher Funeral Home, 254 E. Main St., Westminster with Elder Dennis Cluck officiating. Interment in Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 1 to 2 P.M.
