Julia Virginia Dahlgreen, 90, of Westminster, died Monday, January 25, 2010 at her residence. Born April 4, 1920 in Carroll County she was the daughter of the late Estelle McQuay Glover and George S. Glover.
Before retiring, she worked as a Sales Representative for Sears. She was a member of the Homemaker's Bible Studies, Grace Lutheran Church and enjoyed gardening and flowers.
She is survived by son and daughter-in-law John C. "Jack" III and Jewel Dahlgreen of Finksburg, daughter and son-in-law Delores and Larry Lee of California., grandchildren Amber Curtis and husband Scott of Westminster, Michael Miller and wife Malinda of Columbia, Michelle Abernathy and husband Dave of Columbia, great-grandchildren Clara, Catherine, Phillip, Robyn and Brooke.
She was predeceased by daughter Julia Ann Romano, brothers Wilbur, George, Herschel and Delbert Glover, sister LaRue Brown, and great-granddaughter Mary Catherine Abernathy.
The family will receive friends on Friday at the Fletcher Funeral Home, 254 E. Main St., Westminster from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M.
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 11 A.M. with Rev. Kevin and Martha Clementson of Grace Lutheran Church co-officiating. Interment in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
