Pearl Virginia Flohr Gorsuch, 87, of Finksburg, died Friday, Feb. 5, 2010 at Tazewell Community Hospital in Tazewell, Va. Born Oct. 20, 1922 in Hoods Mill, she was the daughter of the late Carrie A. Fowble and Benjamin S. Flohr. She was the wife of the late Edwin B. Gorsuch who died Dec. 27, 1995.
She was a homemaker. She was a member Sandymount United Methodist Church.
She is survived by daughter Mary V. Hoilman of Westminster, son and daughter-in-law Edwin L. and Kathy Gorsuch of Tazewell, Va., 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by brothers and sisters Leonard Flohr, Florence Flohr Arnold, Raymond Flohr, Margaret Flohr Ripley, Evelyn Flohr, Helen Flohr Wilson
The family will receive friends at the Fletcher Funeral Home, 254 E. Main St., Westminster on Tuesday from 12 to 2 P.M. followed by a funeral service at 2 with Rev. William Maisch of Sandymount United Methodist Church officiating. Interment in Sandymount United Methodist Church in Finksburg.
