John Christopher "Chris" Hutchison, 28, of Westminster, died Monday, March 15 at Milford Memorial Hospital in Delaware. Born January 29, 1982 in Dover, Delaware he was the son of Alice Fay Driggers and John Clifton Hutchison, both of Harrington, Del. He was the husband of Erin Holland Hutchison.
He worked as a computer technician and at Johansson's Down Under. He was also an assistant coach at Westminster High School. He was a graduate of Westminster High School class of 2000 and attended Carroll Community College. He enjoyed working on computers, teaching, and coaching camps for the youth of Carroll County. He was an avid Ravens fan and would attend morning and afternoon practices at McDaniel College.
In addition to his parents and wife he is survived by brother and sister-in-law Joe M. and Kelly White of Conowingo, Md., sisters and brother-in-law Kimberly and Tom Lasater of Broadway, NC, Nicole Gangewere of Pennsylvania, and grandmother Thelma Holland of Westminster. Also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and 10 nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the Fletcher Funeral Home, 254 E. Main St., Westminster on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. with Rev. Jake Butler of New Fellowship Bible Church officiating. Interment in Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Finksburg.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the Christopher Hutchison Memorial Fund, PNC Bank, 406 Englar Rd., Westminster, MD 21157 to help assist with funeral expenses.
