Arlene Weishaar Stahley, 78, of Westminster, died Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at home. Born Aug. 2, 1931 in Carroll County. Survived by her husband of 61 years Bernard "Penny" Stahley.
Before retiring in 1994 she worked for Black and Decker. She was a member of Emmanuel (Baust) United Church of Christ, Women of the Moose Chapter No. 897, American Legion Post No. 31, Ladies Auxiliary, and VFW Molleville Form Post No. 467 Ladies Auxiliary. Besides her husband she is survived by daughters and son-in-laws Krisann and John Wilson of Westminster, Laurie and Jeff Dahlka of Glyndon, brothers Thomas Rippeon of Fla., and Wayne Rippeon of Gettysburg, Pa., sisters Louis Smith of New Windsor, and Shelvia Fox of Hanover, Pa. She is also survived by five grandchildren and 3 great-grand children. She was predeceased by her son Bernie Stahley Jr., in 1978, a granddaughter Michele Stahley in 1994 and a brother Elmer Rippeon.
Memorial services will be held at 8:00 P.M on Saturday April, 10, 2010 at the Fletcher Funeral Home, 254 E. Main Street, Westminster with her pastor Rev. Gerald D. Fuss officiating. Inurnment will be private. The family will receive friends from 7:00-8:00 p.m. Saturday April 10 at the funeral home.
